D&AD Awards - giffgaff Recycling
This project was a entry submitted for this years D&AD New Blood Awards which is the student/graduate version of the traditional D&AD awards. This entry was created as a response to the giffgaff brief which wanted a short, 20 second animation to act as a TV spot which could demonstrate the process and benefits to their new device recycling system.
The motion graphics was created in After Effects to a ‘Recycle Rap’ that was produced along side it. This rap allowed us to be more relatable to our target audience whilst helping to catch the viewers attention in more than just visuals. The final video was also rendered out at 13fps instead of the standard 24 to produce a stop-motion effect to represent the natural side of recycling and stay within the collage style than giffgaff use in their branding.
